You may be familiar with the original book by Dr. Gary Chapman, The 5 Love Languages.  I would like to introduce to you a new book written by Rick Osborne & Gary Chapman for children called A Perfect Pet for Peyton.
Peyton and Penny the twins are off to Mr. Chapman’s Pet Pal Emporium for their big birthday celebration where they will be given their perfect pet pal! They are so excited to celebrate with their friends as they look around the Emporium and explore all the animals. Hidden animals and bugs are illustrated into the pictures for even more fun as you progress through the book.

Each child exhibits one of the five love languages and is matched up with the perfect pet that fits his love language. Each of the 5 love languages; gifts, words of affirmation, quality time, physical touch and acts of service are explained and shown easily from a child’s perspective. This book is sure to bless children as well as parents as you cuddle up over and over to read this endearing book.
The  illustrations by Wilson Williams Jr, draw the reader in as the children celebrate not only the birthday but their love languages.

I've noticed a lot of times people exhibit traits of their love languages. Like my daughter, Abby's, love language is words of affirmation - she loves to write us love notes and e-mails and loves to receive them, too. Mackenzie's love language is quality time - she loves loves to do anything as long as we are spending time together.

This sounds like a great book! I'll have to check it out! ;-)

Physical touch for sure. She loves being held and touched.

While I don't have kids of my own I did adopt my brother's, who passed away. I'd have to say the younger ones are always giving hugs and kisses. The oldest who is 14 will sometimes give a hug, but its rare. So I suppose touch is their love language.

Hugging

I suppose it depends on the child. I'd guess most are quality time or language would be for most children.
